History
The St. Vincent de Paul Society has a long and inspiring history that dates back to 19th-century France. It was founded by Blessed Frederic Ozanam and his companions who were compelled to address the poverty and inequality they witnessed in their society. Today, the society has grown to become an international organization present in over 150 countries, helping millions of individuals and families around the world.
