Empowering Youth through Leadership Development

Welcome to KidLead, the premier leadership development program for children, offered at Second Baptist Church, a part of Reno Remnant Church. As a community-focused organization, we believe in equipping the next generation with essential leadership skills grounded in biblical principles. Through KidLead, we aim to empower young individuals to become strong leaders who make a positive impact in their communities.

Our Mission

At KidLead, our mission is to inspire, train, and equip children to lead with integrity, humility, and compassion. We believe that every child has unique leadership potential, and as a trusted faith-based organization, we are committed to nurturing and developing those talents.

Exceptional Leadership Training

Our comprehensive leadership development program provides children aged 7-14 with a safe and engaging environment to learn and grow. Through a blend of interactive workshops, team-building exercises, and hands-on activities, KidLead fosters essential leadership qualities, including:

  • Confidence: Developing self-assurance and belief in one's abilities
  • Communication: Enhancing verbal and non-verbal communication skills
  • Decision-making: Encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving
  • Collaboration: Cultivating a teamwork mindset and effective collaboration
  • Character: Building character grounded in integrity and respect
  • Compassion: Instilling empathy and a heart for serving others

Our Curriculum

KidLead's curriculum is carefully crafted to engage children at various ages and developmental stages. Our experienced leaders facilitate age-appropriate sessions that combine biblically-based teaching with practical leadership exercises.

Elementary Level (ages 7-10)

In our elementary level curriculum, children embark on an exciting journey that introduces fundamental leadership concepts. Through engaging stories, interactive games, and creative projects, our young leaders learn basic leadership principles while deepening their understanding of biblical values.

Middle School Level (ages 11-14)

Our middle school curriculum builds upon the foundations laid in the elementary level. This advanced program equips students with more complex leadership skills. Through group discussions, mentorship opportunities, and community projects, our middle schoolers engage in transformative experiences that sharpen their leadership abilities.

Program Benefits

KidLead offers a host of benefits to participants, ensuring that they develop into confident and compassionate leaders:
