Welcome to the Filipino Ministry at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church

The Reno Remnant Church is dedicated to providing a welcoming and inclusive spiritual home to all members of our diverse community. Within the church, we have a special community known as the Filipino Ministry, which aims to serve the needs of the Filipino community in the Reno area.

Celebrating Our Rich Cultural Heritage

The Filipino Ministry celebrates the rich cultural heritage of the Philippines through various events and activities. We organize annual festivals, where we showcase Filipino traditions, music, dances, and cuisine. These festivals provide a unique opportunity for the Filipino community in Reno to come together, reconnect with their roots, and share the beauty of Filipino culture with others.

Throughout the year, we also hold cultural workshops and seminars, inviting guest speakers to discuss Filipino history, arts, and traditions. These informative sessions allow our community members to deepen their understanding of their culture and strengthen their identity as Filipinos living in Reno.

Deepening Our Faith

At St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, we believe that faith is the cornerstone of our lives. The Filipino Ministry provides a nurturing environment for Filipino Catholics to grow in their spirituality and deepen their relationship with God.

We offer regular Masses and liturgical services in the Filipino language, providing a familiar setting for our community members to connect with their faith. Our Filipino Masses are celebrated with enthusiastic music, vibrant decorations, and traditional Filipino customs, creating a unique spiritual experience.

In addition to Masses, we host Bible studies, prayer groups, and retreats tailored to the spiritual needs of the Filipino community. These gatherings encourage fellowship, mutual support, and the sharing of personal journeys of faith. Our goal is to strengthen the spiritual bonds within the community and provide opportunities for spiritual growth and enrichment.

Community Involvement

The Filipino Ministry at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church also actively engages in community outreach and charitable initiatives. Our community members participate in volunteer activities, such as helping local shelters, supporting the elderly, and organizing food drives. We believe that serving our community is an essential part of our faith and an expression of the love and compassion taught by Jesus.
