Our Beliefs Shape Our Identity

At Reno Remnant Church, we are guided by a set of beliefs that define who we are as a community of faith. Our beliefs provide the foundation for our teachings, practices, and interactions with one another. They shape our identity and unite us in our pursuit of spiritual growth and a meaningful relationship with God.

The Core Teachings That Define Us

As a community and society dedicated to faith and beliefs, we hold several core teachings that are central to our understanding of spirituality. These teachings serve as the framework for how we approach scripture, engage in worship, and live out our faith:

1. The Authority of Scripture

We believe in the divine inspiration and authority of the Bible. It is the ultimate source of truth and serves as our guide for faith and practice. We seek to understand and apply its teachings in our daily lives, recognizing it as God's revealed word to humanity.

2. The Triune Nature of God

We affirm the belief in one God who exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This doctrine, often referred to as the Trinity, underscores the depth and complexity of God's nature while highlighting the unity and interdependence of the three persons.

3. The Dignity of Humanity

4. The Redemptive Work of Jesus Christ

It is through a personal relationship with Jesus that we find spiritual transformation and restoration.

5. The Power of the Holy Spirit

We believe in the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers. The Holy Spirit empowers and equips us to live out our faith, guides us in truth, convicts us of sin, and enables us to bear spiritual fruit. We seek to cultivate a sensitivity to the leading of the Spirit and invite His presence into our worship and daily lives.

6. The Kingdom of God

We embrace the belief that God's kingdom is both present and future. We are called to participate in God's redemptive work in the world, manifesting His love, justice, and righteousness. As we engage in acts of service, share the gospel, and seek to bring about positive change, we contribute to the unfolding of God's kingdom on earth.
